You have been gone so long it’s sad to say

Your life ended in a tragic way this day

The hospital staff was cold and unfeeling

Never giving hope and never yielding

You taught me to search for answers myself

Never looking to others but pushing yourself

I learned about life and more from you

You defended me when things were hard

Never ever letting me think I didn’t go the extra yard

From helping me pay for my first if many college degrees

You said anyone you want that would please

I chose win that only required entrance fees

You were proud of me I graduated in 3 years with ease

Working in the cleaning store I learned a lot

Our customers loved you and came in a lot

Daddy Doc I miss your sender if humor and more

But most of all I miss you to hug and adore.

As you always said at the end of every rhyme Daddy Dic I will always love and remember you till the end of time .
