Life has a lot of surprises but in the case of John a rude awakening about trust, values and ethics. Foolishly he agrees to split the cost of one dollar for a lottery ticket but did not have the fifty cents to give Ed half. Saying it didn’t matter he forgot about it until the numbers were drawn and he’d won 40 million dollars along with Ed. Or did he?

John takes us back to his past where he grew he and his uncle Jess and their relationship plus the many people he meets in the places he lived. Then meet this best friend Pete and how he helps calm and centered. 

Pop up in places and vendors are great but none here anymore sad. Then angry at what Ed has done, and he drives out of anger and is seriously injured in an accident. Exploding when he learns Ed won’t see him nor will he admit that he was going to split then40 million two ways equal shares. Then anger takes over and he’s critically injured and must face his fate. In the hospital and now dealing with many surgeries and more plus complications. 

The Dr and nurse plus a surgeon assess him and it’s more than he expected plus a long recovery time. Pete his best friend and his wife are there to support him, but he’s bent on getting back at Ed. The machines beeps came on, and he’s got to face surgery, but will he walk again. Then an odd call to his ex-wife and odd conversation. The strain at first but then She agreed to bring his daughter to see him and more. 

Then his dad will help him understand his spinal injury and looking up what it is and taking notes as they work as a team. Then rehab. Things were unsure and no feeling in his legs would he ever walk as someone too vain to ask rehab therapists to or ask to see what can be done. But first a whole team to make him stronger plus better news what he had to do to walk plus Macey the main therapist and learning and using his arms and the gym plus his physical strength. Macey seemed interested and had a sense of humor. Then getting rid of the catheter and getting an intermittent one. Then PT at 6 am up and then the PT therapist Dan. Working out took his mind off other worries and then two a day’s then the next day. Focusing on his health and ability to get around himself the lottery ticket takes a bag seat but not anymore. 

Then what about the lottery ticket? Then he meets a lawyer named Reggie who assesses the accident case and the lottery one hoping he gets money from the man who caused his accident and not quite sure about the lottery case many unanswered questions and hard to prove that he’s owed any part of it. It will get more interesting, and his daughter is on his team plus his therapist is helping him deal with more including going home and home care plus PT at home and more. 

Then John is deciding where his thoughts should go and his life was his job. Complaints written but where is Ed White? Investigator hired will he find him! Then talking with Phil interesting and honest. The therapist is understanding and hears his thoughts and concerns. Going home will present new challenges there but wait until you see what was done. 

Then home changes made for him to get around and then determined to do something about Ed White but not thinking logically. Anger and rage win and wait until you learn how and why this might be a dangerous downfall. 

Reggie his lawyer now hired, and his partner came and talked about settlement for Caltrans the company responsible for the accident and would just that the company would investigate what Reggie described but were waiting for a report if he was speeding. Plus, another Dr to check him out and how long is this process?

Then more about Ed White who closed all his accounts and investments and is somewhere nut where? Plus, what did he do with the money Bitcoin!40 million dollars wow!

Then he and his date pizza and what’s next? Personal conversation and remarks plus then her marriage and more a huge settlement over one million More with his partner and then the investigator finds Ed but in Europe and here’s where it gets interesting and complicated. Then the airport and getting on the plane. Great person seated next to him and Phil his therapist talks things out and then to hotel in Paris driver at the airport Jimmy his private driver and then Didot. 

Events are controlled by others and what happens will be out of the ordinary then the boat where White is supposed to do? What he cared about was the lottery ticket money. Then the plan is devised and the help from these men explained. You must picture how he handled it and the result. Did he get the millions? What about White? Right or wrong which one? How far will someone go to get what they think they deserve?

Then Willie his daughter’s friend and sometimes money can create miracles. Willie had a disability and Amy his loyal friend. What about Amy his daughter? What about Tina and Pete? How does he grade himself dealing with the outcome that is shocking.
